Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ: What type of Music do you use in your Sunday Services?

Our Worship incorporates a consistent blend of traditional and contemporary music. In our services, we normally include two popular, traditional hymns (led from a keyboard), an enduring, well-known contemporary song from the 80's and 90's, as well as a couple, popular contemporary (within the last 5 years) worship songs. We endeavor to include vertical-oriented Worship songs that are focused on worshiping God, rather than simply singing about Him.

FAQ: Since you meet at a Senior Center, is your church open only to older adults?

There is no official affiliation between our church and the Sylvania Senior Center. Individuals of all ages are welcome at NC3.

FAQ: Do you have a Sunday School program for Children?

Yes. Our Children's Sunday School starts at 9:45 a.m., 15 minutes before our service, and ends at approximately 10:30. Children are then escorted to the auditorium for the remainder of the Worship Service, where they can sit as a group, or with their parents. Class includes a Bible lesson, reading from a Children's Bible, a craft, and prayer. We currently serve elementary school-age children.

FAQ - What version of the Bible do you recommend?

At NC3, we primarily use the New International Version (NIV) as well as the New King James Version (NKJV), on occasion. However, we recommend referencing several of the accepted, scholarly accurate versions whenever studying the Word in depth to more fully appreciate the fullness of meaning of a particular passage.
